DELTA OIL & GAS MAKES MANAGEMENT APPOINTMENTS

Delta Oil and Gas Inc. (OTC:BB – DOIG) is pleased to announce that the Company has appointed Mr. Matthew Philipchuk to the Company’s Board of Directors and Mr. Peter Philipchuk to the Company’s Advisory Board, effective February 22, 2005.
Matthew Philipchuk - Director
From 1995 to the present, Matthew Philipchuck has been President, VP Operations and a co-founder of Odin Capital Inc., a Calgary based Oil & Gas exploration company. In 2004, Mr. Philipchuk co-founded Win Energy Corporation, a highly respected oil and gas company based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. He currently holds the position of VP Operations at Win Energy Corporation. In this capacity, he manages operations, public relations and administration as well as assists in corporate finance and joint ventures. Mr. Philipchuk benefits from a family background well-versed in oil and gas experience.
Peter Philipchuk, P.Geol. – Advisory Board
Peter Philipchuk is a highly experienced geologist with a successful background in the oil and gas industry. Since completion of his Bachelor of Science, Honours, in Geology at Queens University in 1962, Mr. Philipchuk has accumulated over 43 years of related experience ranging from being a member of an original exploration team that conducted structural and stratigraphic mapping programs in the Canadian Artic Archipelago to consulting to major oil and gas companies on geological matter to owning and operating his own exploration companies. From 1995 to the present, Peter Philipchuk has been CEO of Odin Capital Inc. and was co-founder of the company which currently exists as an Oil & Gas Exploration company in Calgary, Alberta. He is currently a member in good standing of the Canadian Society Petroleum Geologists. He participated in oil and gas Joint Venture Prospects at Pincher Creek, Turner Valley, Lochend, Caroline, Strachan, Stolberg, Sukunka and Knappen. In 2004, he co-founded Win Energy Corporation and currently is the President and CEO of that company. In these capacities, he originated the "Triangle Gas Play" for the company in the Southern Alberta Foothills, extending from Turner Valley to Pincher Creek. His long experience as a geologist has led to major petroleum developments leading to highly rewarding investments.
